Falling in Love

.

Falling in love is a powerful, physiological, neurological,
endocrinological, psychological state.
And like all things
this euphoria can be far too temporary.

Come with me,
in your mind’s eye,
to the beach.

Let us stand in hip deep water.
Watch as a small wave approaches,
washes over us
and then passes us by.

This is what can happen in our love lives.

We meet that special someone,
we savior the euphoria of falling in love,
and then when it passes us by
we wonder what has happened.

Well that sucks!
Who wants fleeting love?
Doesn’t everyone desire a passionate, fulfilling love,
that grows stronger every day?

How can we do that?
How can our sweethearts and us,
fall deeper in love every day?

Glad you asked!
Let us return to our imaginary surf.

Again we find our selves in shallow water.
Again we see a wave approaching.
BUT this time we start swimming in it the same direction
that the wave is flowing,

it catches up with us,
lifts us up,
and takes us all the way to the shore.

Likewise, if we want to ride the euphoric wave
of perpetually falling in love
then we and our partners most grow,
we must evolve
in the same direction.

Come let us set space,
and empower expectation
that in our next relationship
we will manifest a partner

who also desires:
physical, emotional, intellectual as well as spiritual growth and evolution.

Most relationships end after it’s participants have grown in different directions.
Folks the ONLY hope of preventing this
is for both members of the relationship
to have the same goal and grow in the same direction.

It sounds silly but it’s true,
many folks want growth, but NOT change.
They don’t want to let go of their
sorrow, fear, aggression, pride, selfishness and defensiveness.

Growth and consistency are mutually exclusive,
we can only have one but not the other.

Just like body surfing;
either we plant our feet and let the wave of euphoria pass us by,
or we swim hard and let the wave of love pick us up
and take us for the ride of a lifetime.

Which will you choose?

Have you reserved your place in the Thursday series of weekly webinars ?

May you and yours be
happy and healthy!

Om Mani Padme Hum,
