Classical Buddhist Tantra

.

Classically, Buddhist Tantra was practiced
in a highly inefficient manner.
Men and woman would spend their whole lives practicing,
just to accomplish the 6th Bhumi {which is Sanskrit for level}.

Strictly speaking, Generation stage was all about:
#1 Offerings

#2 External Visualizations of Buddha’s and Pure-lands,
#3 Personal Visualizations of oneself reborn in the aspect of a Buddha of light,

#4 Internal Visualizations of Buddhas dwelling within or enlightened bodies and
#5 Mantra recitation

Classically, Perfection stage was all about:
#1 Visualizing our inner channels, wheels and drops
#2 generating blissful sensations and then…

#3 letting go of our visualized:
a) universe,
b) environment,
c) body,
d) bliss and
e) “self.”

Essentially, Great Perfection stage was all about the union of
#1 spontaneous awareness and
#2 letting-go

To speed things up,
so that the good hearted student
could accomplish the 10th Bhumi {full enlightenment}
in less then one year…

we practice the union of all these stages, simultaneously,
in the MOST:
a) essentialized,
b) easy,
c) simple and
d) effective
manner.
