There seem to be two extremes
in the wide world of Sexual Tantra.
The ascetic extreme insists on NOT ejaculating and sometimes
not even climaxing {sorry girls}.
The hedonistic extreme insists that BOTH partners must not only climax
but even ejaculate.
Here your teacher stands in the mid point between the two extremes.
Your goal as a Buddhist Sexual Tantrika is
neither to ejaculate nor to NOT-ejaculate,
your goal is neither Climax nor NON-climax.
Confused yet?
Good!
Before making love we can set a Loving intention
with the silent recitation of this prayer:
“May all beings benefit.”
That means the remaining three mental yogas are:
Devotion, Awareness and Letting-go.
IN-breath: Where pleasure? {awareness}
OUT-breath: Chen-re-zig! {devotion and Letting-go}
There’s a whole spectrum of love sexual practices
from making love like a Hindu Goddess on one end of the spectrum
to F*%king like a Porn Queen on the other end
and perhaps at the mid-point there are even some
who want to make love like a Mormon;
but this exercise is applicable to EVERY form of sexual delight.
There will come a time when mentally reciting three syllables
on the IN-breath and during the OUT-breath will no longer be possible.
When that happens relax into awareness with this one syllable exercise…
IN-breath: This? {awareness}
OUT-breath: Free! {devotion and Letting-go}
Be patient with yourself, this is a learned skill but with quite a pay-off;
for if you can meditate in the midst of hot, passionate sex,
then you can meditate in the mist of despair, rage and terror,
no less, sadness, anger and fear.
Classically a sandwich is a piece of thinly cut meat
between two slices of bread.
Likewise we’re gonna sandwich the Meat of this meditation practice
between two slices of love.
The first slice of love was the silent prayer,
“May all beings benefit!” mentally recited before the love making.
The second slice of love is the prayer known as “Bodhichitta’s essence”
recited during afterglow. Download it Here.
