Tips on Meditation and the Spiritual path - idea #180
from your Buddhism expert
Television sucks! Or at least it’s commercials do. That
is one of the reasons I prefer to watch T.V. shows on
DVD, usually from www.NetFlix.com.
In disc one of “Numb3rs” season two; it was explained
that the sub-atomic particles known as photons, act
in pairs. And that no matter how far apart the two
might be, the pair always spin in harmony with each
other. Why is that? How do they communicate with each
other? What drives them? So compelling are these
questions that Einstein called this phenomena “Spooky
Action at a Distance.”

Despite what we think, feel, understand or believe
everything is interconnected. Of course this reminds
me of a passage from “Quick path to Happy Peace” that
reads:
“…be it causes, components,
conditions or perceptions,
separateness is but an illusion…”
And yes, you can make arrangements to download your
FREE copy by going to http://www.lamajigme.com
So what? How could this interconnection effect us?
Very well, thank you. It can effect us on three levels.
#1 Outwardly, interconnection feeds
our experience of renunciation by feeding our sense of
causality. Action and reaction, cause and effect. There
is a consequence for everything we do, say or choose.
In the words of SCTV’s Count Floyd, “Ooo… scary; huh kids!”

#2 Inwardly, interconnection can remind us that no man
is an island. It can remind us, that all of us dread
the same sufferings and long for the same pleasures.
This of course can by used to nurture our experience
of both compassion as well as love. And, if properly
empowered, can actually change the world around us!
#3 Secretly, interconnection can fuel our practice of
Buddha’s mental yogas that help us to let-go in the
most wonderful way. It could be argued that renunciation
is quite coarse, love is subtle and letting-go is very
subtle.
Very subtle though it is, letting-go can be accessed
through “Quick Path to Happy Peace’s” first recitation elective “The Three Paths of Liberation”
{especially “Bringing Liberation into the Path of
Insight”} as well as it’s second silent elective
“The Sutric Questions.”
Although the primary goal of the practices of “Quick
Path to Happy Peace” are to help us become more of the
happy camper we were each born to be, as a fringe
benefit it can cause us to powerfully advance upon
Buddha’s path to Enlightenment.
The successful practice of:
• “Bringing Liberation into the Path of Insight”
and
• the “Sutric Questions”
each hinge on our ability to master the secrets of the
Buddha of Compassion’s six syllable mantra: “Om Mani
Padme Hum.”
Tomorrow is the Last day that you could get your copy
