Sad Irony

.

It is the idealistic, ground breakers that have formed
the greatest spiritual movements in history.
And then you have their followers…

The greatest saints all had the courage
to notice whether the actions they were taking
were giving them the results they desired.

Ironically, their followers often lacked the courage to do likewise.
This can be seen in every sect of every spiritual tradition.

What are the four categories that they could fall into?
#1 Sweet but stupid,
#2 sweet and intelligent,
#3 evil but stupid as well as
#4 evil and intelligent.

The insecurities of the sweet but stupid
make them easy prey for the evil and clever.
And they find sweet and subtle ways
to undo the good works of the founders.

Come let us truly follow in the footsteps of the great ones
and exercise the courage to notice the results we are getting
AND not getting
from the path we tread and the advisors we heed.

The Thursday series of weekly webinars will only be offered once every year.

May you and yours be
happy and healthy!

Om Mani Padme Hum,
