Blaming Karma

.

Fatalism is a bad thing.
Sometimes people get discouraged on the path to enlightenment.
That discouragement can give birth to an utter certainty
that they can’t complete the path.

That certainty can erode their self esteem.
And therefore to protect their self esteem,
they can tragically make up reasons
why no man can accomplish enlightenment.

There are two reasons to do the right thing.
#1 The selfish fear of receiving a karmic spanking.
#2 or the simple intention to benefit all beings.

Q: What is Sam-sa-ra?
A: Sam-sa-ra is the Tyranny of Suffering

The ONE thing that keeps us in Samsara
is our failure to MASTER Buddha’s mental yogas.

Let us not mystify the notion of karma.
Our decisions, words and actions
either create opportunities that are conducive to Dharma-practice
are they create obstacles.

Let’s not make stuff up,
even esoteric stuff up
to answer the endless demand of “Why?”

Rather let us Ask:
• “What’s going on?”
• “How can I prevent it?”
• “How can I fix it?” and {most importantly}
• “How can I make the most of it?”

Rather then trying to protect our feelings,
lets improve our minds, hearts, and actions and become
the truly wonderful people our dogs already think we are!

Cool Junk

.

There are many “neat” customs and traditions in Buddhist Tantra…

So what?
The real question is NOT “what are the coolest things we could fill our practice with?”
BUT, “what are the most effective things we can fill our practice with?”

Although offerings are taught in the 2nd and 3rd quarters
the quickest way to full enlightenment
is the simple practice of the middling “Buddha's Four Yogas.”

Do them properly, twice a day, every day
and your should accomplish full enlightenment
in less then 10 months!

So now the $64,000 question is:
“What is the definition of full enlightenment?”

The Thursday series of weekly webinars will only be offered once every year.

May you and yours be
happy and healthy!
