What is Compassion Training?

.

What is compassion training?
I was taught that compassion and love are two sides of the same coin.
Compassion strives to take away the sufferings of others whereas
Love seeks to lavish others with blessings in the most wonderful way.

What is compassion training?
It’s the art of learning how to give a flying F*&k about others!

My first step-father {bless his heart} used to say:
the basic definition of comedy is an old lady slipping on a banana peel
and the definition of tragedy is me slipping on a banana peel!

Self-centered Compassion = intention free ourselves from suffering and it’s causes
Universal Compassion = intention to free everyone from suffering and it’s causes
in the most beneficial manner.

Come let us transmute our spontaneously occurring, Self-centered compassion
into Universal compassion.
Let us embrace the simplest and easiest techniques
that can generate rapid and profound transformation.

Quick, there are only two weeks until the Thursday series of weekly webinars begins!

May you and yours be
happy and healthy!

Bliss and Openness pt. 7

Meditation and the Spiritual path - idea # 125
from your Buddhism expert

Bliss and Openness pt. 7

What is this “Contrived” business? That means that once we have completed the 10th or 11th lessons of the Beginning series we actually know how to tame our sufferings to a limited degree as well as harness their energy to further our progress upon Buddha’s path to a certain level.

But here is the catch… the success is finite and it requires great effort. Well that sucks! Hey man, I don’t know about you, but I want to effortlessly achieve limitless success; how about you?

Tomorrow we’ll explore the level of “Spontaneous Mastery.”

Imagine a simple 4 step process in which 1) your awareness spontaneously embraces what you are experiencing in the present moment, 2) you blissfully invoke the blessings of the Buddha of Compassion, 3) an effortless process applies the energy of whatever you feel to the wisdom of letting go and 4) the momentum feeds your love for all others. I call it “Emotional Alchemy.”. To find out more, go to: http://www.LamaJigme.com
