Subtle Controlling Tendencies

.

Share

We each have the impulse to be fearful, prideful and controlling.
We all get frustrated when folks and circumstances dare to defy our will;
{don’t they know who we are?}

I find it can be helpful, when
working with controlling tendencies in the present moment to
notice their most dynamic aspect.
That would be the aggression component.

Let’s not fool ourselves, aggression can
be VERY subtle, polite and well mannered…
but it’s still aggression.

The very act of bending another to our will is
violent and profoundly disrespectful.
No matter what our motivations are, it’s
still an act of violating another’s autonomy…

hey folks that’s called rape!

It pays to be mindful of what we feel and
then {you guessed it} bring it into Buddha’s paths of:
• Devotion,
• Awareness,
• Love and
• Letting go.

Come let us drag our subtle controlling tendencies into
Buddha’s quick path of great bliss!

The Friday-series of weekly webinars begins in ONLY 2 weeks!

May you and yours be
happy and healthy!
