Just say "NO" to Story

.

If the experiences of sadness, anger and fear could be energetic...

then how much more so those of despair, rage and terror?

But what are we to do with suffering’s energy?

Some folks seek to drown it in a sea of:
• activity,
• eating,
• drinking and
• even sex.

Others seek to understand, remedy and prevent it by
crawling into their heads and
obsessing over dis-empowering Whys and Hows.

Like the Unabomber sitting in his cabin,
feverishly journaling his convoluted manifesto we
too can squander our mental and emotional energy either
installing or strengthening Dis-empowering beliefs.

Like it our not, suffering is a
golden, contemplative opportunity.
Rather than squander it let’s use the practice of
Buddha’s Four Yogas to transmute our sorrow, anger and anxiety into
greater Compassion, Love and Wisdom.

In a nutshell, say “NO” to story and “YES” to practice.
