Don't Run Away from Bliss or it's Causes

Sadly, we’re NOT raised to be Buddhas, or even Bodhisattvas.
Nope, we were raised to be Boobs.
And as such, we were taught to be defensive.

We were taught how to paint ourselves the victim and
to paint the other guy as the villain.

That skill set is perfect for increasing:
• anger,
• fear,
• sorrow, and
• a profound sense of helplessness.

However, as Bodhisattvas we have the option of
#1 noticing our mellow-dramatic tendencies and
#2 putting them on pause.

Such questions as:
• “How could he do this?” and
• “What am I going to do?
could distract us from…

distract

the opportunity of:
• noticing our sufferings in excruciating detail
{in a manner that increases our awareness},
• using them to fuel universal compassion
{that gives birth to joy} as well as
• further empower our realization of the wisdom of letting-go
{that multiplies our peace}.

Troubles will always come.
There has never been a shortage of sufferings.

Rather than solve every problem
or rail against every injustice
our job is to make the most of every opportunity to
blissfully master the Mental-yoga of Buddha .
