Others' Tears aren't always our Fault

.

People get hurt all the time.
Sometimes there is NO way to discuss something without
others’ feelings getting hurt.
That does NOT make us wrong.

Sometimes people are hounded by their own:
• guilt,
• fear,
• anger
• as well as self loathing and
when we attempt to communicate with them painlessly, it
sometimes doesn’t quite work out.

Sometimes folks are unable to
psychologically process what we are saying.
Why is that?

Just as most folks, running errands at midday, wear
sun glasses; likewise we all could have
mental filters that effect the way we
hear things.

It is as if they can NOT hear our words of
compassionate wisdom over the utter din of
their own, guilt, fear, anger, and self loathing.

Sometimes we can gently communicate with another, and
they could still feel great pain, because
their suffering could be:
#1 their own making and
#2 their own perception.

I once complimented a beautiful woman on
her hair, only to have her turn and spit,
So, are you saying I’m fat?

Obviously, though she may have blamed me for
making her feel bad,
I truly was NOT the villain.

Remember, who you are is NOT determined by
what others feel, but
by what you do.

Some people loved Gandhi did that make him good?
Nope.
Some people hated Gandhi, did that make him bad?
Nope.

What will you do to shed the emotional garbage that
your loved ones could occasionally dump on you?
