There are so many reasons to bow to the Buddha:
#1 it’s fun
#2 it purifies bad karma
#3 it generates good karma
#4 it increase our experience of the bliss of devotion and
#5 it can be great exercise

fitness

After sleeping for 5-8 hours
when we get up in the morning
we could feel lethargic and like we have very low energy.

lethargic

Although that’s natural, it’s not much fun.
Lighting a candle before an image of your teacher
as well as Chenrezig {the Buddha of Compassion}…

chenrezig

and then knocking out 10-36 high speed athletic bows
can really clear out the cob webs
and be quite stimulating for the cardio pulmonary system.

Today we’ll play with the easiest of the moves,
the Tibetan-inspired bows.
