Whether we know it or not,
whether we feel it or not,
during every IN-breath
we tend to Tighten-up.
What could be the spiritual application of
this physical phenomena?
In addition to just tightening up our muscles,
we are also constricting our attention, or
simply put, we concentrate.
Whether we know it our not,
whether we believe it or not,
our bodies tend to Relax,
even a just little bit,
during every OUT-breath.
What could be the spiritual application of
this physical phenomena?
In addition to relaxing our shoulders, we
mentally and emotionally let-go.
The ideas of noticing and letting-go are
NOT mere contrivances that
we impute upon
random, physiological processes.
To the contrary,
noticing and letting-go are
the hidden spiritual potential within
every breath.
If we are mindful of our natural tendencies to
notice and let-go with
every breath of meditation, then
we could turn the key that unlocks the door to…
…full enlightenment in
