QUESTION: What does it mean to
“Accomplish Chenrezig”?

SIDE-note: Chenrezig is Tibetan for the Buddha of Compassion who
is known as:
• Avalokiteshvara in India,
• Kwan Shih Yin Pu’sa in China,
• Kwonzeon Bosatsu in Japan and
• Kwan Te Am in Vietnam.

Kwan Yin

ANSWER: Does it mean that we’ve got four arms?
While that could be fun on a date, sadly
the answer is “no”.

Does it mean that we’re comprised only of
white, translucent, bliss-inducing light?
Not so much!

It means that we’ve gotten so good at
practicing Buddha’s mental yogas of:
#1 Devotion,
#2 Awareness,
#3 Love and
#4 Letting-go that
{and here’s the difference that makes a difference}
we’re able to practice them
• Spontaneously,
• Habitually,
• Easily and
• Effectively.

We’re able to practice them when we’re
happy, sad, comfortable, in pain, fully clothed, or
even while making love.

What is the difference between a Boob and a Bodhisattva?
A Bodhisattva knows of and practices
Buddha’s four yogas, whereas
a Boob neither know nor cares, IE Homer J. Simpson.

What is the difference between a Bodhisattva and a Buddha?
It is a mysterious and arcane technique?
It is a secret hand shake?
NOPE, it all about mastery.

A Buddha is simply a Bodhisattva who has so
mastered the four yogas that
he or she now practices them:
• spontaneously,
• habitually,
• easily and
• effectively.

Likewise how do you get from being a
Bodhisattva to being a Buddha in 10 months or less?

Easy!
#1 Attend class every week,
#2 re-read and transcribe your class notes every week,
#3 do no less then 9 minuets of homework every morning and
every evening and
#4 as you go though the day vigilantly and enthusiastically apply
either the 3-breath or the 7-breath remedies as needed.

As it is said, in Adam Sandler’s “Water Boy,”
“You cahn doo eet!”
